Bill Moyers (b. 1934) was the publisher of "Newsday" from 1967-1970. From
1971-1976, he was the producer and editor of Bill Moyer's Journal on PBS
before moving to CBS, where he was chief correspondent for CBS Reports
(1976-1978) and Senior News Analyst (1981-1986). In 1986, Moyers formed his
own production company, Public Affairs Television, to produce and distribute
quality news programming. The winner of numerous Emmy and Peabody Awards,
Moyers has been placed among the ten journalists who have had the most
significant influence on television news. Fine condition.
