Floor Board signed: "Bill Russell", 6x4x1½. Authentic piece of game used 1970 and 1973 Championship seasons N.Y. Knicks Madison Square Garden floor, with custom Knicks display stand & boxing. With PSA/DNA sticker (#D44591) and Certificate of Authenticity. Bill Russell was the NBA's MVP for the 1957-1958, 1960-1961, 1961-1962, 1962-1963 and 1964-1965 seasons. Playing his entire pro career with the Boston Celtics, Russell, born in 1934, was key to making the Celtics one of the great sports dynasties of all time (not to mention winners of 11 NBA championships in 13 years between 1956 and 1969). He became the first Black NBA (and major U. S. sport) head coach in 1966 and was enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 1975. In 1980, the Basketball Writers' Association of America named him the greatest NBA player of all time. Overall fine condition.
