Signature: “Billy Knight” in black felt tip, 5x3. Billy Knight (b. 1952) is a former pro
basketball player who alternated between the positions of shooting guard and small
forward. He played in college for the University of Pittsburgh where he helped the team get
to the NCAA Men's Division I East Regional Finals. In the 1974 NBA Draft, Knight went
in the second round and was the 21st overall pick selected by the LA Lakers. Knight played
for several different NBA teams including the Buffalo Braves, the Boston Celtics, and the San
Antonio Spurs, but he spent the bulk of his career with the Indiana Pacers. In fact, he
holds several Top 5 all-time records for the team. Knight was a front office executive for
both the Pacers franchise as well as the Vancouver/Memphis Grizzlies franchise. From 2003 to
2008, Knight served as the General Manager of the Atlanta Hawks. Lightly toned. Corners
