Billy Vidabeck was the professional name of William Veydovec (b. 1905), a heavyweight pro boxer from 1922 through 1928, during which he compiled a record of 29-13-5, knocking out 11 opponents while being KO'd four times. He had a small role in the movie Knockout Riley (1927), shown as a training camp fighter. One of Vidabeck's final bouts was against "Cinderella Man" Jim Braddock; they fought to a 10-round draw.
