Collector's ink stamp on verso dates signature: November 24, 1937. Binnie
Barnes (1905-1998) made her American debut in There's Always Tomorrow
(1934). She had appeared in a number of British films, including
The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933) and on the British stage.
She returned to American films later in her career when her husband, Columbia
production chief Mike Frankovich, cast her in the 1968 films The Trouble With
Angels and Where Angels Go -- Trouble Follows and in 1972's Forty
Carats.Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York business man by day,
pursued his love of film and theatre in the evening, making friends with many
celebrities. While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman
presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen.
Corners worn and creased. Lightly toned around edges. Otherwise, Fine
condition.
