Inscribed photograph signed: "Richard/Binnie Barnes", in black
ink, Sepia 8¼x10. Binnie Barnes (1905-1998) made her American debut in
There's Always Tomorrow (1934). She had appeared in a number of
British films, including The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933) and
on the British stage. She returned to American films later in her career
with films like The Time of Their Lives (1946) and films cast by
her husband, Columbia production chief Mike Frankovich, like the 1968 films
The Trouble With Angels and Where Angels Go -- Trouble Follows and
in 1972's Forty Carats. Corners lightly worn and creased. Slightly
soiled. Ink notes (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
