The hockey pro signs this index card in black felt tip
Signature: "Blake/ Dunlop" in black felt tip, 5x3. Blake Dunlop (b. 1953) is a retired NHL
forward whose career lasted 10 seasons; he played for the Minnesota North Stars
(1973-1977), the Philadelphia Flyers (1977-1979), the St. Louis Blues (1979-1984), and
the Detroit Red Wings (1983-1984). After an impressive college career in Ottawa, Dunlop
was drafted in the 2nd round, 18th overall in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. Unable to
match the high scoring momentum he had displayed in college, Dunlop mostly played in the
AHL, only occasionally being brought up to the NHL. Over 10 seasons, he played in 550
NHL games, scoring 130 goals, recording 274 assists, and racking up 404 penalty
minutes. He was awarded the Les Cunningham Award as the AHL's 1978 MVP, as well as
the Bill Masterton Trophy in 1981. Lightly toned. Pen notes in an unknown hand on verso.
