Blake Edwards (1922-2010), born William Blake McEdwards, is known for successful films
such as The Days of Wine and Roses (1962), The Pink Panther films (from 1964), 10 (1979)
and Victor/Victoria (1982), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best
Adapted Screenplay. He was also nominated as Best Director by the Directors Guild of
America for the Academy Award-winning film, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Several of his films
have starred his second wife, singer and actress Julie Andrews, to whom he has been
married since 1969. On February 29, 2004, Edwards received an honorary Academy
Award for his life's work. Blake was also married to Patricia Walker (Edwards) from 1953 to
1967. Their marriage produced two children: actress Jennifer Edwards and screenwriter
Geoffrey Edwards. Lightly creased. Paper clip impression at upper left. Otherwise, fine
