JOSE FERRER (1912-1992) won the 1950 Academy Award for Best Actor for reprising his 1947 Tony Award winning title role in Cyrano de Bergerac. He had previously been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar as the Dauphin in Joan of Arc (1948) and would be nominated again for Best Actor in 1952 for his portrayal of painter Toulouse-Lautrec in Moulin Rouge. Actor and Martial Artist MARTIN KOVEwas born in Brooklyn, New York on March 6, 1946. He is best remembered for his role as Cobrai Kai Sensei John Kreese in the films The Karate Kid (1984), The Karate Kid, Part II (1986) and The Karate Kid, Part III (1989). First appearing on screen in 1971, Kove is still appearing in television shows and films in 2012. He played a long running character, Detective Victor Isbecki, on the television series Cagney and Lacey (1982-1988) and also appeared in Code R (1977), We've Got Eachother (1977-1978), Starsky and Hutch (1979), Chips (1979), Hard Time on Planet Earth (1989), Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993-1994), Diagnosis Murder (1998-1999) and Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985).
