The actress signs on a still from the movie Too Far To Go, pictured with Michael Moriarty.
Inscribed photograph signed: "For Robert Rubin - /With kindest thanks/Blythe Danner", in black felt tip, B/w 7¼x9. A "critic's darling" thanks to her husky voice and pleasantly mannered acting style, Blythe Danner (b. 1943) has worked with distinction in TV and on stage, though her film roles have tended to be few and far between. She was memorable as Robert Duvall's long-suffering wife in The Great Santini (1980) and as Nick Nolte's wife in The Prince of Tides (1991), while in 1986's Brighton Beach Memoirs, the decidedly WASPish Danner surprised fans by portraying a middle-aged Jewish woman. In 1992, she did stellar work in the made-for-TV movie Cruel Doubt. More recently she appeared in the hit Meet the Parents (2000) and it's sequels. She is the mother of actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Corners worn. Info on picture attached to verso (no show through). Fine condition.
