BOB KUECHENBERG
Bob Kuechenberg sends a letter explaining that he does not have any more photographs to send out.
Typed Letter Signed: "Bob Kuechenberg". 1p, 8½x11. North Miami Beach, Florida, 1985 March 19. To Bill Dooley. In full: "It was nice to hear from you again. Since I did not play this year and may not play next year, I have let my supply of photographs phase out; the last ones I had were those you already have. I will keep your address on file, however, and should I order any more for any reason, your club will be the first place I send them. Thanks for your card. Sincerely," Bob Kuechenberg played college football at the University of Notre Dame where he was a member of the 1966 national championship team. Professionally, he played with the Miami Dolphins from 1970 through 1984 and became one of the NFL's best run-blockers. He played in more games than any other Dolphin player and was the only player to play in five Super Bowl games. The Dolphins won Super Bowls VII and VIII. In 1972, with Kuechenberg on the team, Miami completed a perfect season 17-0 with a Super Bowl victory over the Washington Redskins. Fold creases not at signature. Fine condition.
