Printed Art signed in ink: "Bob/Kuzava". Color, 3¼x2¼ heavy card. Bob Kuzava's service in World War II earned him the nickname "Sarge." In 10 Major League seasons, he pitched for 8 different clubs, compiling a 49-44 record mostly in relief, but he is best remembered for his contribution to Yankee World Series victories in 1951, 1952 and 1953. He finished the final game of the '51 series against the Giants and the '52 series against the Dodgers. In 1953, he had a no-hitter going through 25 outs, until he yielded a double to the White Sox Bob Boyd in the 9th. Fine condition.
