Postcard Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Harry Moyer/Sincerely/Bobby/Goldsboro". Color, 4¼x6. Bobby Goldsboro played guitar for rock legend Roy Orbison (1962-1964) before launching a successful solo career as a vocalist. From the 1960s to the 1980s, he landed 11 hits on the pop Top 40 charts, 12 more on the country listings. His biggest hit, the sentimental "Honey" (1968), successful with both audiences, also marked his transition from primarily pop to primarily country ballads. Goldsboro had his own syndicated TV show (1973-1975). As a songwriter, he wrote hits covered by such vocalists as Brenda Lee, Dolly Parton, John Denver and Vicki Carr (including the latter's Grammy-nominated "With Pen in Hand"). In the 1990s, he scored the soundtrack for the hit TV series Evening Shade. Fine condition.
