Rydell was a popular music favorite and teenage heartthrob in the interlude between Elvis Presley's departure for the army and the arrival of the Beatles. Between 1959 and 1964, he had seven Top-Ten hits, including "Kissin' Time", "Volare", "Wild One" and "Forget Him". After starring in the film version of the hit musical Bye, Bye Birdie (1963), he pursued a career as a very popular nightclub entertainer. Recently, he has toured with two other Philadelphia-born teen music idols of the same era, Frankie Avalon and Fabian. Slightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
