BOBBY HULL and BRETT HULL
This 14x11 color photograph signed by father and son features two separate photograph
quality images of the Hall of Fame hockey players
Photograph signed: "Brett Hull/16", "Bobby/Hull/#9". 14x11 overall, with two oval images on
one surface. Twelve-time All-Star Bobby Hull (1939-2023) joined the Chicago
Blackhawks when he was just 18 years old. He played for the team from 1957
to 1972, scoring 640 goals during that span. During the 1965 season, he
became the first player in NHL history to score over 50 goals, finishing the
season with 54. He won two Lady Byng Memorial Trophies and two Hart
Memorial Trophies, both at the end of the 1964 and 1965 seasons. He joined
the new World Hockey Association (WHA) in 1972, playing for the Winnipeg
Jets for seven seasons. In the WHA, he won the league's MVP award twice, in
1973 and 1975. At the time of his retirement, the left winger was the 2nd-most
goal scorer in NHL history. Bobby Hull was inducted into the Hockey Hall of
Fame in 1983. It soon became evident that hockey ran in the family. Bobby's
brother Dennis Hull and his son Brett Hull had long and successful careers in the
NHL.Dennis Hull scored over 300 goals during his career and the two brothers
played together for eight seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks. Brett Hull (b.
1964) scored 741 goals during his career, beating his father by well over 100.
The younger Hull played in the NHL from 1986 to 2004, briefly returning for
the 2005 season after a one-year hiatus before calling it quits for good. Most of
his career was spent with the St. Louis Blues, where he earned the Hart
Memorial Trophy and the Pearson Award (now known as the Ted Lindsay
Award) following the 1990 season. While his father only won one Stanley Cup
(1961), Hull won two, with the Dallas Stars in 1999 and the Detroit Red Wings
in 2002. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009. They are the
only father-son duo to earn a variety of recognitions. Both players were
inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, passed the 600 goal mark, and won
the Byng and Hart Trophies. Fine condition.
