and 1964.

of There I've Said It Again/A Girl with the Bow in Her Hair by Vinton.
rEpic. Record not included. There I've Said It Again spent four weeks
at No. 1 in January of 1964. It was knocked off the top of the mountain by
the Beatles' I Want To Hold Your Hand. Although his sentimental ballads
were more similar in style to singers of earlier decades, Vinton, born
Stanley Robert Vinton in 1935, was a big hit with young listeners in the
1960s. He scored five big hits between 1962 and 1964: Roses Are Red,
Blue on Blue, Blue Velvet, There, I've Said It Again and
Mr. Lonely. Unlike many of his rivals, he more than survived the
British invasion, with further big hits like I Love How You Love Me
(1968). Vinton hosted his own TV musical variety show (1975-1978) and
remains ever popular on the nightclub circuit and "oldies" radio. Lightly toned,
soiled, creased and bowed. Light impressions and scuff marks from album. Light
tear in right edge. Lightly worn edges. Lightly rounded, creased and worn
corners. Otherwise in fine condition.
