Magazine page signed: "Bonar Colleano", in blue ink, 6¾x3¾. British film star Bonar Colleano (1924-1958), born in New York City, appeared in over thirty films between 1945 and 1958. The dark haired American was found irresistible by British female audiences and he was married to English starlet Susan Shaw. He played the role of Stanley in the original London production of Streetcar Named Desire (opposite Vivien Leigh, with Laurence Olivier as director). His notable film roles include Johnny in the Clouds (1945), Eight Iron Men (1952), Joe Macbeth (1955) and The Man Inside (1958). Colleano died at the young age of 34, after crashing his sports car in Birkenhead, England. Toned. Faint stains on top edge. Fine condition.
