BOSTON BRUINS: PHIL ESPOSITO, KEN HODGE and WAYNE CASHMAN
All sign a limited edition, 16x20 color photo, in their Bruins uniforms.
Photograph signed: "Wayne Cashman", "Phil Esposito", "Ken Hodge". Color, 16x20. Captioned "The Espo Line." Limited edition #175 of 300. Photo: Al Ruelle. Two images of the trio are shown: one with each standing, the other of them attacking together on the ice. PHIL ESPOSITO began his NHL career with the Chicago Black Hawks and finished up with the New York Rangers, but his biggest successes came as the centre of the Boston Bruins' offensive line from 1967 to 1975. The ten-time All-Star entered the Hall of Fame in 1984, and the Bruins retired his #7 jersey. He retired as the #2 all-time leading scorer in NHL history (1,590 goals and assists). The Bruins won two Stanley Cups (1970, 1972) with an offensive line of Phil Esposito flanked by wing menKEN HODGE and WAYNE CASHMAN. Hodge accompanied Esposito in a one-sided trade with the Black Hawks which turned the Bruins into a powerhouse. He followed Esposito to New York, one season later. Hodge retired with 800 points scored. Cashman, on the other hand, spent his entire NHL career with the Bruins (1964-1965, 1967-1983), captaining the team after the departure of Esposito and Hodge. He retired with 793 points. All three members of this classic "Espo line" remained in hockey after leaving the ice, Esposito as a general manager, Cashman as a coach, Hodge as a broadcaster. Fine condition.
