Bound (1996) was the feature film directorial debut of Andy and Larry Wachowski, better known as the Wachowski Brothers; their blockbuster The Matrix (1999), released three years later, was their sophomore effort. The Wachowski Brothers were reportedly so impressed with Pantolino's performance as the psychotic gangster Caesar that they offered him the key role of Cypher in The Matrix. Stage, screen and television actress TILLY, born Jennifer E. Chan in 1958, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Olive Neal in the 1994 Woody Allen film Bullets Over Broadway. Tilly, the older sister of actress Meg Tilly (born in 1960), began her career on the TV series Boone (1983-1984) and Shaping Up (1984). In 1984, Tilly broke into films with No Small Affair, and she would later be seen or heard in such features as Moving Violations (1985), Johnny Be Good (1988), The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989), The Getaway (1994), Bound (1996), Liar Liar (1997), Bride of Chucky (1998), Stuart Little (1999, voice), Monsters, Inc. (2001) and Tideland (2005). Tilly has also made a number of made-for-TV movies and has guest starred on several TV series, from Hill Street Blues (1985) to Out of Practice (2006), including It's Garry Shandling's Show (1987), for which she was nominated for a Cable ACE Award. Tilly also won a Theatre World Award for Most Promising Newcomer in 1993 for her role in the play One Shoe Off. GERSHON, born in Los Angeles, California in 1962, is an American actress with over 70 movies and TV shows to her credit as of this biography. Gershon got her start on the stage and made her movie debut as an uncredited dancer in Beatlemania (1981). Combining toughness with seductiveness, Gershon has earned a reputation as a reliable character actress with memorable roles as Nancy Sinatra in the miniseries Sinatra (1994) and in City of Hope (1991), The Player (1992), Bound (1996) and The Insider (1999), as well as one she probably wants to forget: as Crystal Connors in Showgirls (1996). PANTOLINO, born in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1951, is an Emmy-winning American actor with over 120 movies and TV shows to his credit as of this biography. A reliable character actor and scene stealer, Pantolino is often cast in cynical or villainous roles in such movies as Risky Business (1983), Midnight Run (1988), The Fugitive (1993), The Matrix and Memento (2000), and earned an Emmy for his portrayal of remorseless gangster Ralph Cifaretto in The Sopranos (2000-2004) . He got his start on the stage, which included the role of Billy Bibbit in the touring production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, before breaking into Hollywood in 1974 in Road Movie (1974). Pantolino got his big break, after several appearances on TV and the silver screen, as the pimp Guido in Risky Business, which earned him a cult following and opened the door to a slew of secondary roles. Lightly soiled, scuffed and creased. Light impressions and scratches on cover (not visible head-on). Corners lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
