Laserdisc cover signed "Brad Pitt" in blue ink. Color, 12¼x12¼. Two-disc set, not included. Layout and Design ©1998 Columbia TriStar Home Video, content ©1997 TriStar Pictures, Inc. Seven Years in Tibet (1997) starred Pitt as Heinrich Harrer, a former Nazi SS officer who lived in Tibet and became the Dalai Lama's tutor from 1944 until the Chinese invasion of 1950. The movie was based on Harrer's book of the same name. Pitt, born William Bradley Pitt in Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1963, dubbed by People in 1994 as "the sexiest man alive", was nominated for an Oscar as Best Supporting Actor for 12 Monkeys (1997). His other noteworthy films include Thelma and Louise (1991), A River Runs Through It (1992), Legends of the Fall (1994), Interview with the Vampire (1994), Se7en (1995), Meet Joe Black (1998, in a sympathetic portrayal of Death), Fight Club (1999), Spy Games (2001) and Ocean's Eleven (2001). In 2005, Pitt co-starred in Mr. & Mrs. Smith opposite Anjelina Jolie. Although Pitt and Jolie denied rumors of a romance, he and actress Jennifer Aniston, to whom he had been married in 2000, divorced in October 2005. Lightly scuffed creased. Signature is lightly smeared. Rounded corners. Otherwise in fine condition.
