magazine photo affixed at left. Brett Halsey (b. 1933), the nephew of US
World War II Admiral William "Bull" Halsey, was a B-movie version of
James Dean in late 1950s films like Hot Rod Rumble, High School
Hellcats and Speed Crazy. He moved on to films like Return of the
Fly and Return to Peyton Place, before moving to Italy to star in
spaghetti Westerns and Euro-spy flicks. He married a series of hot European
women, including German beauty queen Renate Hoy, Italian Bond girl Luciana
Paluzzi and German singer/actress Heidi Bruhl. Returning to the US in the 1990s,
Halsey became a frequent TV guest star, and by now was playing senior statesmen
like Senator Paul Laxalt (in The Jessica Savitch Story) and Secretary of
State William Rogers (in Kissinger and Nixon). Lightly worn and soiled at
corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
