Document Signed: "Brian Dennehy", 1p, 8¼x10½. New York City, 1990 February 22. Headed: "Statement Pursuant To Section 507 Of The/Communications Act of 1934 - Guest". Disclaimer for Dennehy's taped appearance for the Today show. The document relates to the guest not giving anything of value to anyone associated with the program, not accepting anything of value to promote anything on the program and notifying the NBC Compliance and Practices Department of any violation of the rules set forth in the document. Dennehy's printed name, the date, the name of program and an "x" for his signature written (unknown hand) in ink at lower portion. Matted to 20½x14 with photograph, color, 6¼x9½. In the year he signed this document, Dennehy (1938-2020) appeared in two feature films, Presumed Innocent and The Last of the Finest, and he was seen on the small screen in three made-for-TV movies, Pride and Extreme Prejudice, A Killing in a Small Town and Rising Son. On Broadway, Brian Dennehy (born in 1938) earned a Tony Award for his role as Willy Loman in a revival of Death of a Salesman (1998). He is also a familiar face in movies, some of his credits being Gorky Park (1993), Cocoon (1985) and Tommy Boy (1995). While his own TV series have not prospered, he has been a welcome guest star with recurring roles on such programs as Dynasty (1981) and Just Shoot Me (1999). Lightly creased, touching signature.
