Document signed: "Brian Keith", 1p, 8½x7. Los Angeles, California, 1964 April 23. Keith informs an unnamed party that he has authorized the James McHugh, Jr. Agency of Los Angeles to accept all checks or sums of money payable to him, and agrees to indemnify for any expense suffered by reliance on this authorization. The son of actor Robert Keith, Brian Keith appeared with his dad in the Broadway debut of Mr. Roberts (1948). A decorated Marine pilot in World War II, Keith (1921-1997) played good guys and bad guys in Western and action films of the 1950s and more varied roles thereafter. He portrayed President Teddy Roosevelt in The Wind and the Lion (1975) and TR's predecessor, President McKinley, in The Rough Riders (1997). He was a very popular TV actor whose series highlights included Family Affair (1966-1971), The Brian Keith Show (1972-1974) and Hardcastle and McCormick (1983-1986). Slightly creased. Paper clip impression in upper right. Horizontal fold touches "B" in "Brian" and "K" in "Keith" Otherwise, fine condition.
