album leaf, 1x1 ¾ newspaper photograph affixed to lower right corner, captioned
at lower margin (unknown hand). Swedish born actress, Britt Ekland (born
1942) was married to comedian Peter Sellers, with whom she co-starred in
After the Fox (1966) and The Bobo (1967). Ekland enjoyed good
reviews for her role as a prim Quaker girl who inadvertently invented the
strip-tease in The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968)and as
James Bond's vis-à-vis in The Man With the Golden Gun
(1974). She continued to appear in films into the 1990s and some
stage and television in the 2000s. Ekland published her best-selling
autobiography, True Britt (1980,) a beauty and fitness book in
1984 and a fitness video in 1992. George Sanders was a West Coast radio and
television host who collected autographs from guests on his show. George R.
Sanders, originally a disc jockey, became a prominent radio/TV interview
host, first in Los Angeles and later in Portland. Otherwise, fine
condition.
