Coburn (imprint at lower right edge). Actor Broderick Crawford (1911-1986) won
the 1949 Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as ruthless
political leader Willie Stark in All the King's Men. He is also
remembered for starring opposite Judy Holliday in 1950's Born Yesterday
and for his television series, Highway Patrol (1955-1959), on
which he starred as Captain Dan Matthews, the gravel-voiced Chief who barked
"10-4" on the police radio. Surface creased, diagonal crease at the second "r"
of Crawford and one word of writing. Light tape stain (barely visible)
underlines Crawford. Minor creases at facial image. Glue stains at upper right
margin, minor paper scuff at lower right portion at sleeve of suit coat.
