Actor Broderick Crawford (1911-1986) won the 1949 Academy Award for Best Actor for
his performance as ruthless political leader Willie Stark in All the King's Men. He is also
remembered for starring opposite Judy Holliday in 1950's Born Yesterday and for his
television series, Highway Patrol (1955-1959), on which he starred as Captain Dan
Matthews, the gravel-voiced Chief who barked "10-4" on the police radio. Signature light but
legible. Silvered throughout photograph. Corners lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
