BROOKS & DUNN. Photograph signed: "Ronnie Dunn" and "Kix Brooks". Color, 8x10. Ink notes (unknown hand) on verso: "Brooks & Dunn signed 11-3-02 [illegible] Nashville TN". After Louisiana-born Leon Eric "Kix" Brooks and Texas native Ronnie Gene Dunn teamed up in Nashville, their debut album, Brand New Man (1991), not only produced three No. 1 hits ("My Next Broken Heart", "Neon Moon" and "Boot Scootin' Boogie"), but the latter song helped to kick-start the line-dancing craze that swept country bars across the nation. Their auspicious start was no fluke, top hits followed in rapid succession: "She Used to Be Mine", "That Ain't No Way to Go", "She's Not the Cheatin' Kind", "Little Miss Honky Tonk", "You're Going to Miss Me When I'm Gone", "My Maria", "A Man This Lonely", "Husbands and Wives", "How Long Gone", "Ain't Nothing 'Bout You", "Only in America", "The Long Goodbye" and, their 2005 hit, "Play Something Country". With over 28 million records sold, the duo are not only the biggest-selling duo in country music history, but they have also sold more records than any other duo except Simon and Garfunkel. Brooks & Dunn, who have been honored with numerous Entertainer of the Year and Duo of the Year awards by the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music, are a popular tour draw and make frequent television appearances. Lightly creased at blank corners. Minor surface creases and stains (most not evident head on). Label remnant affixed to verso (no show through). Overall, fine condition.
