Baseball signed "Brooks Robinson/Baltimore Orioles/#5/MVP1964/317BA/28 HRs/118 RBI" in blue ink. 2½-inch diameter. Rawlings Official American League ball, Gene A. Budig, President. With PSA/DNA Certificate of Authenticity (G12457). Known as "The Human Vacuum Cleaner," Robinson established a standard of excellence for modern-day third basemen. He played 23 seasons for the Orioles, setting major league career records for games, putouts, assists, chances, double plays and fielding percentage. A clutch hitter as well, Robinson hit 268 career home runs, at one time an American League record for third basemen. Robinson earned the league's MVP Award in 1964 and the World Series MVP in 1970, when he hit .429 and made a variety of sparkling plays in the field. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983. Lightly toned, soiled and stained. Signature is lightly smudged in places but legible. Otherwise in fine condition. The PSA/DNA seal has been broken to ensure all around visuals of the baseball for the customer.
