Typescript signed "Buck Trent/'oh yeah'/8-17-85" in blue ink. 1 page, 7¾x9. Titled: "SONG LIST for BUCK TRENT." Song list for two unidentified shows, with keys for each song. Trent is known for giving a thumbs-up and saying "Oh yeah" during his performances.Trent, born Charles Wilburn Trent in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1938, is one of the finest banjo players in country music, not to mention the inventor of the electric banjo. Trent made his professional debut at age 17 on an Ashville, North Carolina TV station at the end of the 1950s and has also appeared on the TV series Hee Haw (1975-1982). He was also part of Porter Wagoner's Wagon Masters from 1962 to 1973 and has appeared ont he Grand Ole Opry. Trent recorded from 1962 to 1986 and released a Top 10 country album, A Pair of Fives (Banjos, That Is), in 1975. Lightly soiled, rippled and creased. Irregular top, left and right edges. Otherwise in fine condition.
