Baby-faced comedian BUDDY HACKETT (1924-2003) was equally comfortable as a risqué, improvisational nightclub entertainer and a figure in family films such as The Music Man (1962) and The Love Bug (1968). Appearing on TV early (1945), he had his own sitcom a decade later (Stanley, 1956). Hackett also starred in the Broadway comedy, Lunatics and Lovers (1953). A successful nightclub comedian, James Carter (1922-2015) was a frequent guest on TV variety shows, quiz panels and series since the early 1950s. His film career as a character actor spans two-thirds of a century and includes films such as: The Amazing Dobermans (1976), Viva Las Vegas (1964), History of the World, Part I (1981), Won Ton Ton, The Dog Who Saved Hollywood (1976), October 22 (1998), etc. Signed on verso of typed sheet, light show through. Lightly creased with folds, light diagonal crease at the upper loops of Hackett. Overall, fine condition.
