Typed letter signed "Burt Kwouk" in blue ink.1 page, 8¼x11½. London, England, Aug. 22, 1984. Addressed to "Mr. Axelrod". In full: "Dear Mr. Axelrod: I hope the enclosed meets your requirements as outlined in your letter of 23rd July, 1984. I am afraid it is the best I can do. I wish you success with your project. yours sincerely, Bert Kwouk". Lightly toned and creased. Folded twice and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition. Accompanied by: Original mailing envelope. Postmarked Kilburn, London, England, Aug. 23, 1984. Addressed to Mr. Todd M. Axelrod, American Museum of Historical Documents, Las Vegas, Nevada. With typed notation on front and verso: "Photos: Please Do Not Bend". With one 4p and 31p stamp affixed. Lightly toned and creased. Envelope is neatly cut at top edge. Otherwise in fine condition. Burt Kwouk (1930-2016) as Inspector Clouseau's manservant and frequent sparring partner Cato Fong in seven Pink Panther films between 1964 and 1993, beginning with A Shot in the Dark (1964). Kwouk appeared in over 140 film and television productions,including appearances in three James Bond films: Goldfinger (1964), You Only Live Twice (1967), and Casino Royale (1967). Doctor Who fans may also recognize Kwouk as Lin Futu from the 1982 story arc Four to Doomsday. Mailing creases. Slightly worn along edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
