Winter Season. Reynolds (1936-2018) was an Oscar and Emmy-winning TV and movie
actor. He made his TV debut in 1959 and his movie premiere in 1961, but his breakthrough
film came in 1972 with Deliverance, which established him as both a star and serious actor.
That same year, he became a major sex symbol when he was featured as the first nude male
centerfold in the April edition of Cosmopolitan. He went on to become the biggest box-office
attraction in America for several years, starring in films such as Hustle (1975), Smokey and the
Bandit (1977) (as well as its two sequels), Starting Over (1979), and The Best Little
Whorehouse in Texas (1982). In 1997, Reynolds was nominated for the Academy Award
for Best Supporting Actor for the role of Jack Horner in Boogie Nights. On TV, he
starred in the popular sitcom Evening Shade, for which he won an Emmy. Slightly
creased. Ink note (unknown hand) in upper right. Overall, fine condition.
