Nelson". B/w, 8x10. American golfer Byron Nelson (1912-2006) was called a
"mechanical" golfer because his play was so consistent. He won a record 11
consecutive golf tournaments in 1945, and Nelson won the Masters in
1937 and 1942, the U.S. Open in 1939 and the PGA Championship in
1940 and 1945. He was elected to the PGA Hall of Fame in 1953 and the World
Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. Lightly creased at blank margins and corners,
light black mark at upper right corner. Minor surface creases (most not evident
head on). Fine condition.
