condition. Framed with a photograph of and background plate on Robert Tyre "Bobby" Jones
(1902-1971), golf's first Grand Slam winner, as well as a plaque listing the career highlights of
the signers. Gene Sarazen (1902-1999) won 39 PGA tournaments, including seven of the
"Major" events. Sam Snead (1912-2002) won 87 PGA tournaments (the most by anyone),
including 7 Majors. Byron Nelson (1912-2006) won 52 PGA tournaments and 5 Majors. Art
Wall, Jr. (1923-2005) won 14 PGA events, including the Masters in 1959. Doug Ford (b.
1922) won 19 PGA tourneys, including 2 Majors, and is the oldest surviving Masters winner.
Bob Goalby (b. 1929) won 11 PGA competitions, including the Masters in 1968. Robert
Tyre "Bobby" Jones (1902-1971), who competed only as an amateur and retired early with
13 big wins, is the only signer who never won the Masters, golf's most prestigious event.
He created the tournament and designed the course. Four items. Framed in the Gallery
