with photo credit stamp on verso in black ink. According to notations on verso,
this photo is of the first New York Revival of My Fair Lady at the New
York City Center, with Webster in the role of Colonel Pickering. Webster
(1931-1991, born in London, England) was a stage and film actor. He made his
film debut with an uncredited role in Captain Horatio Hornblower, R. N
(1951), but then spent the next 15 years on the American stage, including
roles in the original Broadway productions of Camelot as a replacement
(1960-1963) and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever
(1965-1966); he had a total of five appearances on Broadway throughout his
career. He then returned to movies and TV, with a total of almost 60 movie and
TV shows to his credit. Lightly toned, cracked, creased and bowed. Light
scratches on image (not visible head-on). Otherwise in fine
condition.
