Photograph signed: "Sincerely/Cameron Mitchell". B/w, 5x7. Cameron
Mitchell (1918-1994) made his Broadway debut in 1934. He was a bombardier during
World War II. Perhaps his biggest success was as Happy in the stage and
screen versions of Death of a Salesman (1949, 1951). Prominent film
roles of the 1950s included Carousel and Monkey on My Back. He was
featured in three TV series, including High Chapparal (1969-1971).
Mitchell was the voice of Jesus in the crucifixion scene in The Robe
(1953). Slightly creased at corners. Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso (no
show-through). Fine condition.
