JOE ROSBERT [CAMILLE] The Flying Tiger who later published a book and invested in an airline company signed this black and white photograph Photograph Signed: “Joe Rosbert”. 8x10 overall size, actual image 6½x9¼ with a white border (one surface). Captain Camille Joseph Rosbert (1917-2007) served in WWII as a member of the Flying Tigers. After the war, Rosbert engaged in a number of different businesses. He published a book titled Flying Tiger Joe's Adventure Story Cookbook. While flying for CNAC, he crashed into a Himalayan peak. He was rescued 47 days later! In 1947, Rosbert served as a technical adviser for the film Calcutta. Note on verso in unknown hand. Otherwise, fine condition.
