Signature: "Joe Kerwin". Red pen mark in bottom left corner in unknown hand. 10x8 white cardstock, affixed to a 10¾x8¾ sheet of black cardstock. Typed caption affixed in bottom left corner: "SKYLAB II 59 days, May, 1973 - June 22, 1973". With a 2x2 color photo of Kerwin, two 3½-inch diameter Skylab patch decals, a 5 ½ x 4 ¼ American flag decal, and a 1-inch diameter American Bicentennial sticker affixed. American and doctor astronaut Kerwin, born Joseph P. Kerwin in 1932, was the science pilot in the Skylab 2 mission (May 25 to June 22, 1973). This crew was the first aboard the Skylab and had to make extensive repairs, including deployment of a parasol sunshade to lower inside temperatures. Lightly toned. Red pen mark touches signature. Flag and Bicentennial stickers are lightly soiled. Light impressions on white cardstock. Black cardstock is lightly creased and scratched with lightly dented top and bottom edges and rounded and worn corners. White cardstock is separating from black cardstock. Otherwise in fine condition.
