postmarked Andover, Maine, March 22, 1982, 5-cent U.S. stamp affixed. Michael
A Baker was born on October 27, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. A graduate of
the University of Texas, he became an astronaut in July of 1986. Baker
flew on NASA missions STS-43, STS-52, STS-62 and STS-81. His awards
include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion
of Merit, NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal, NASA Exceptional Service Medal and
the National Defense Medal. Lightly worn, soiled and creased. Otherwise, fine
condition.
