Signature: "Paul Weitz". 6x4 cardstock, matted to 7¾x5¾ in a blue, white and red matte. Card has a small color headshot of Cernan, an American flag and 3½-inch Skylab 1 mission emblem. Weitz, born in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1932, was an American astronaut who was the pilot for NASA's Skylab 2 mission (May 25, 1973 to June 22, 1973). This was the first manned mission to the United State's first space station. He was also commander on STS-6 (April 4, 1983 to April 9, 1983), the maiden flight of the Space Shuttle Challenger. Not matted in Gallery of History style. Lightly toned and soiled. Outer matte is chipped, nicked and creased in corners. Signature touches emblem but is legible. Otherwise, fine condition.
