Daugherty Field, Long Beach, California, October 30, 1932. This air show was
sponsored jointly by the US Army and the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.
CAPTAIN WEILHAM VON GARDENHEIR and B. F. O'BRIEN were
participants. OSCAR H. FATOUT was a designer of commemorative covers,
many of them, but not this one, hand painted. Cover, postmarked Los Angeles
November 1, 1932, bears typed Fatout's typed address in Bronx, N.Y. Lightly
worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
