Commemorative Envelope Signed: “Wolf-Dietrich Huy”, “Erhard Jahnert”, “Heinz Ebeling”, “Karl-Hermann Millahn”, “Siegfried Fischer” and “Martin Mossdorf” in black and blue ink. 6½x4½.WOLF-DIETRICH HUY (1917-2003) was a Nazi militant and German former Luftwaffe fighter ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves during World War II. A flying ace or fighter ace is a military aviator credited with shooting down five or more enemy aircraft during aerial combat. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.ERHARD JAHNERT (1917-2006) was a Nazi militant who was highly decorated Major in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he was credited with 622 flying missions. At the end of the war Jahnert was made prisoner by the British troops. HEINZ EBELING (1918-1987) was a Nazi militant, Luftwaffe Staffelkapitan and flying ace during World War II. He was praised with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, wish was given as a recognition to enormous battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. KARL-HERMANN MILLAHN (1916-1981) was a Nazi militant who was highly decorated Major in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron was awarded to praise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. SIEGFRIED FISHER (1918-1998) was a Nazi militant who was highly decorated Oberfeldwebel in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he had 713 flying missions, and was credited with the destruction of 80 tanks and 15 aerial victories. He was captured by Soviet troops in April 1945 and held captive until September 1946.MARTIN MOSSDORF (1916-2002) was a Nazi militant who was highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize intense battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he flew over 160 missions. In August 1942 Mossdorf was the leader of a group of 22 Stuka attacking a convoy on his way to Malta (Operation Pedestal), but instead of attacking the freighters of the convoy he attacked HSM Indomitable (92). In November 1942 Martin Mossdorf was shot down by British P-40s, captured and held until 1947.
