Small black and white publicity photograph of Capucine in profile wearing a black hood.
Photograph signed: "Capucine". B/w, 5x7 overall, image 4¼x5½ (one surface). International stardom arrived for Capucine (1933-1990) when she starred as Princess Carolyne in the 1960 biopic Song Without End. She achieved notoriety for her role of a lesbian hooker in 1962's A Walk on the Wild Side. Capucine went on to appear in The Lion (1962), The Seventh Dawn (1964), and was given a chance to display her comic know-how in the original 1964 The Pink Panther. Twenty years later she recreated her role for one of the post-Peter Sellers Panther sequels. After years spent in seclusion, Capucine committed suicide by leaping from her 8th floor Swiss apartment. Fine condition.
