Color illustration of a Maurice Farman shorthorn cacheted on left-hand side of envelope. CARL BERR was a German lieutenant who shot down 3 Se-5s, 1 spad, and 1 balloon during WWI. HEINRICH HINTZ was a test pilot during WWI, and then worked as a commercial pilot. Subsequently, he functioned as a WWII test engineer for Junker and Focke-Wolf. FRITZ LOOSE was a seaplane crewman during WWI and shot down 7 enemy aircraft during WWII. HANS ROSS was a flight instructor in WWI. Subsequently he worked as a commercial pilot in South America. OTTO ZIMMERMANN served as a pilot in WWI. Lightly toned. Corners gently worn. Otto Zimmermann's signature is slightly haloed. Otherwise, fine condition.
