Magazine photograph signed: "Carlton Fisk", Color 7½x9¾. Fisk, born Carlton Ernest Fisk in 1947, holds the all-time major league record for games caught (2,229); he held the all-time HR leader for catchers (351) until it was broken by Mike Piazza in 2004. He was 1972 AL Rookie of Year and a 10-time All-Star. He also hit the epic, 12th-inning Game 6 homer for the Boston Red Sox in the 1975 World Series, which gave the Sox the game and a 3-3 tie in the series. (Fisk's hit nailed the left field foul pole at Fenway Park; this pole was renamed the Fisk Pole in 2005) He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. Two horizontal folds. Lightly creased and worn. Unknown stains on verso. Mounting residue on verso. Otherwise, fine condition. Previously authenticated by JSA.
