CARMEL MYERS (1899-1980, born in San Francisco, California) was an American actress with over 90 TV shows and movies to her credit, with most of these before 1934. Myers was once one of Hollywood's most enticing and alluring vamps, especially as Iras in Ben-Hur (1926), and starred opposite Douglas Fairbanks and Rudolph Valentino. She made the transition to talkies with character roles and even to television with a 15-minute interview show, The Carmel Myers Show (1951). She was married to RALPH BLUM, her second husband, from 1929 to 1950. Their son, also named Ralph Blum, is a writer. Jagged at left edge from removal from bound book. Irregular cut edges.
