Handwritten letter by the English author, discussing one of her
books
Autograph Letter signed: "Carol Lake", 1 page, 5x7. 55
Seven Hill Road, Derby [England], 1990 February 5. To "Dear Mr.
Godward", in full: "Enclosed the pages of original manuscript,
[Items not included.] and I hope this will suit. It's slightly different
in placed from the book & the names are the names of real children, which
had to be changed for obvious reasons. I chose these pages to send because there
is a reference to Charlie Chaplin near the end. All good wishes for your
convention & I hope you make lots of money for such a good cause."

and creased at edges. Fine condition.
