Mrs. John F. Kennedy, Caroline Bouvier Kennedy married designer Edwin
Schlossberg in 1986; they have three children. She helped found
the Profile in Courage Awards in 1989, designed to honor
politically brave public officials. Her books include In Our Defense
(1990) and The Right to Privacy (2000),both co-authored by her
law school friend Ellen Alderman. In 2001, Kennedy published The
Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy and, in 2002, inspired by her
father's book, she wrote Profiles in Courage for our Time. In She
Walks in Beauty, Kennedy uses poetry selections to illustrate the stages of
a woman's life. Since 2002, Kennedy has served as Vice Chair of the Board of
the New York City Department of Education's Fund for Public Schools, at a
salary of $1.00 a year. Fine condition.
