Photograph signed: "DC", "Jeffrey Wright", color 10x8. British actor DANIEL CRAIG (b. 1968)became the 7th James Bond in Casino Royale (2006). Noted for his gritty performances, much less debonair (or tongue in cheek) than some of his predecessors, Craig boosted the third Bond film (Skyfall, 2012) to the highest rating in the series to date. As the new Bond, Craig earned a place beside Queen Elizabeth II at the 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony. Ironically, he had been cast as a priest intent on assassinating Elizabeth I in Elizabeth (1998). Other pre-Bond roles for Craig included Copenhagen (2002, as Werner Heisenberg) and Sylvia (2003, as Sylvia Plath's husband Ted Heath). He has continued to appear in non-Bond films, including Cowboys and Aliens and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. American actor JEFFREY WRIGHT (b. 1965) first gained recognition for his role as Norman "Belize" Arriaga in the play Angels in America, earning him a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award. He later reprised the role in the HBO adaption, with the role again receiving recognition with a Golden Globe win and Primetime Emmy award. Among his many roles, Wright has the distinction of playing historical figures like secretary of state Colin Powell (W., 2008) and blues musician Muddy Waters (Cadillac Records, 2008). Edges slightly worn. Fine condition.
