O'Connor went on to work with Sir Nigel Playfair and Fred Hartley's Quintet before hitting it big. Later in his career he formed the Avonmore Trio, which featured his wife Rita on piano and his son on guitar. Throughout the course of his career, O'Connor made hundreds of records. A few of his popular songs include "When I Leave the World Behind" and "In the Still of the Night". But the songs for which he was best known were "I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen" and "I'm Only a Strolling Vagabond". One horizontal mailing fold. Corners and edges worn, with slight paper loss at upper right-hand corner. Tone and faded in places. Otherwise, fine condition.
